Do any of you Gents have experience with the Meopta products?

My older brother has a MeoPro. I think it’s clearer glass than my Zeiss Conquest.

Got a MeoPro 3-9x50 on my 308 that I use for plains game. I really like it! It's clear and it has never lost it's zero. I would say 90% of my shots are free-standing or sitting and shooting off my knees.

Fantastic quality glass. I use d my mates rifle in Namibia recently. It has Meopta scope. Really liked it. It will be my next purchase.

Meopta produces very good optics. Well worth the money, specially Meostar and Artemis range.

I was not superhappy with the Meopros I tested(3 pcs 3-9x40, ended up getting a refund), very sensitive about eyeplacement and markings on the dials and actually direction to turn did not match, nor was it consistant from scope to scope. Really strange.
But nice and sharp, felt robust, adjustments consistant.

I have a Meostar R1 1-4x22RD Illuminated reticle. Very good for taking quick shots on driven hunts, or shooting in poor light conditions.

I have heard good things about their binos.

I have a Meopta Meostar R1 4-12x42 on my Mauser M12 that I have used in Namibia the last two years.
Good glass, nothing complicated and clear view. Does what I want it to.
I have no problem recommending Meopta to anyone.
I will be looking at their scopes for my new rifle too.

I have the Meostar 10x42 HD's, , SLC HD"s, and a few other binocs. The Meostar is on par optically with the SLC's, and built every bit as good too. I see very little difference.

I also have the Meostar S2 spotter. I had it side by side with my Kowa 884 Prominar, and my buddies Zeiss 85T. We all agreed the Meopta was sifnificantly better than the Zeiss, and slightly better than the Kowa. That' some pretty high praise. Their customer service is excellent as well.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
