Goodness there are plenty of Elk in that herd and some nice bulls two

need some wolves to take care of the excess

Or some hunters at least we will pay a trophy fee the wolves might not HAHA

Plenty of elk there. Looks like fall going into winter. Herded up and likely migrating to winter range. Duffas needs a citation for harassment of wildlife. Stressing bulls like that between rut and winter could mean some will winter kill. In my area that would draw a citation. If he stayed a bit higher like in some of the shots it wouldn't be bad. Causing a full out run is unnecessary. Bruce

Bruce, he certainly could have been cruising higher for sure.

The cows and calves are out running the bulls. Is this normal or is it due to the stress of the rut?

In Idaho we would consider that harassing wildlife, could get fined.

Wow! Great looking elk. Would live to slip up on that group!

My first thought was isn't that harassment of wildlife. Duffas is one thing you can call him, plus I can think of a couple more.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was someone working for the USFWS.
