does anyone know anything about the marlin xl7 bolt rifle?

I bought one to take on an RSA plains hunts. As I was sighting it in, at some point the ejector plunger got stuck. Doesn't seem like anything major but because it's a part of the bolt which has involvement in headspacing, they want me to send the whole gun back and not just the bolt. Not done it yet.

Other than that the trigger was decent and it shot pretty well with the loads that I got to put through it. If I was to do it from scratch again, I may consider the Ruger American rifle just because their stock seems to have a better bedding system.

thanks, there are some in an online sale brand new and look like they are going for just over half new price here.

They're nice and inexpensive so you might as well jump on it. Like I said, it shot well until I had the weird ejection plunger issue and the trigger was pretty decent.

ok will do as long as people dont start bidding against me! . its in 30-06 so hopefully as most over here prefer .308 or smaller cals they wont. .
