Hello to everyone,

My first post on this forum and wanted to share a couple of great pictures from our awesome Marlin season off Bazaruto Island – Mozambique from last year (Sep-Dec).

Anyone interested in our packages for this year’s upcoming marlin season, information on our operation or the area or a full report from last year please drop me a mail.

Hope you enjoy the pics and tight lines.
Cheers

MarlinMoz, Welcome to AH and thanks for sharing your beautiful fishing pictures with all of us. We would love to hear some of the stories that go along with your pictures. Where do you take your boat out from in Mozambique?

The only "big game" fishing that I have done in Africa was off the coast of Gabon for Sailfish, Marlin, Tuna, Shark & Barracuda, what a great experience! We ended up taking all of the above except for Marlin.

After all these great posts about fishing in Africa, I realize that I have been missing out on some of the action and will plan a hunting / fishing trip next time I'm there...

Thanks...I charter out of bazaruto Island, Mozambique's most well known fishing destination and Africa's best Black Marlin Fishig destination. Still to date the only place in the continent that has produced Black's over a 1000 pounds.

I worked over in St Tome & Principe and Gabon in 2006, great fishing there. In Gabon mostly fished poppers from the beach at various river mouths for Cubbera snapper, threathfin, tarpon and kingfish...amazing action!!!

Maybe I can mail you my full season report with stories and pictures, would not know how to post here tought, already in a set format!!!
Cheers

... a few more pics!!!

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
