Interesting article on the recent Mad Max movie that did well at the recent academey awards. One has to wonder, what the Namibian officials were thinking when they allowed this film crew into the country.

I saw that movie. I cannot imagine a movie less worthy of a best picture nomination. Technical stuff, OK, but it was actually nominated for best picture. Good grief.

I agree with Sess about this not being best picture material, but that aside, I actually thought it was a pretty entertaining movie . . . but to each their own!

I didn't mind the movie either, I was entertained I just don't think it's even in the top 500 movies I've seen in my life.

I saw it and didn't much care for it.....the movie that is. The original with Mel Gibson wasn't much either!
As mentioned money talks and when a film crew comes in there is money to be made.

No doubt, that Hollywood is a huge cesspool of Liberal hypocrisy. The mighty dollar seams to be the driving force.

I haven't seen the new Mad Max. the original wasn't very good.
