This is a very lightly used rifle bought new by me in August of 2009.

Rifle comes with SA 10 rd mag, web sling and in the original SA box.

Rifle has approximately 200 rounds through it, never rapid fire...barrel never heated.

See 3 shot group at 100 yards off rest fired in April to check zero on sights.

I also have 5 20 rd mags that can go to the buyer of the rifle for $20 each.

If a FTF deal is done we can also work something out on about 400 rounds of ammo with 150gr Hornady SP, 165gr Nosler BT and 168gr Nosler CC bullets.

Buyer pays shipping and dealer transfer fees if rifle must be shipped.

I am willing to drive up to 150 miles to meet for a FTF deal.

Well, the pics are all right-side-up on my 'puter!

Am I missing the price Tim?

Mods: can I add the price to title or first post? My time to edit is expired. :(

Well, might have under-priced it a bit.

Anything that sells that fast was probably too cheap! lol

Sold pending funds.

It wasn't under priced. Your competition is being able to buy the same exact gun brand new for $1099 on Gunbroker, like I did.

Scott,
It is like a fine Double owned by Elmer Keith commands a higher price. A M1A owned by Tim hell yeah, could be worth a mint at Rock Island Auction one day!lol
Next on the auction block is this hardly used rem 870 used by none other than Bullthrower338 to hunt grouse in Montana as a young lad! Bet she would bring $150.lol
Glad ya sold it Tim! Is this going to the 404 fund?

Well, I admit I didn't take that into account!:eek::rolleyes:

It's right side up to bluey!

That was pretty painless and quick. Congratulations on getting it sold.

Must have been that high-dollar sling that clinched the deal! :ROFLMAO:

I do think many guys would rather buy a gun from an individual vs a dealer, all else being equal. No fed nonsense.

I know guys that privately is all they buy. I figure they got me figured out so what's one more!lol

No, your'e just that good a salesperson....."for a limited time only".... "but wait, we'll include more"..... hahaha

Yes, but on the other hand if you sell it to someone you don't know, and is in another state, you will have to ship it to his dealer and thus the Federal stuff kicks in. Plus tax in some cases, dealer fees.. In my home state of Washington, we now have a stupid law that mandates that ALL gun sales go thru a dealer. No more face to face sales without paperwork, at least with strangers. Supposedly there is a carve out for close relatives and loaners to relatives but that's about it. So from my perspective, buying from a local dealer or on line is all same, whoever has the best buy. And I wont try to sell to unknown persons anymore. I priced my green M1A at all local shops and all online sellers that I could find and chose a seller on Gunbroker who was and still is selling them for $1099. Even adding shipping, tax and dealer fees, it was still cheaper than buying from any LGS. Best deal my closest dealer could offer was $1350 plus tax!!

Fortunately this will be a ftf deal. Clean and easy.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
