Will be traveling to Hungary in September. Looks like it is Red Stag season then. Does anyone have any experience hunting over there as well as recommendations for outfitters? Thanks in advance.
I hunted roebuck and boar in Hungary. Stags are also quite good. Hunting Across the Danube, a book, has a lot of good information, and it was written by the fellow who basically opened Hungary, and Romania, to western sportsmen. Great trip.
I used Pannonvad - here's the website - http://pannonvad.hu/en/about-us/
Peter Horn is in the US, but travels back and forth. Toni is based in Hungary.

Im getting ready to go but first I have a 3 week photo Safari tour scouting some locations in the Limpopo province for future Photo safari tours! watch this space for awesome updates and footage !!!
Remember ISE Show 8-11 Jan in Denver Colorado!

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
