Lion floating bones

i often have clients ask me what they can do with their lion floating bones

also i have a few sets

any ideas and or pics would be great

Google Lion Floating Bones and it seems there are lots of ideas / jewellery...

I've seen some very, very high-dollar jewelry (necklaces) made from them that was easily $20,000+. There is an avid safari hunter, benefactor, and jewelry to the uber affluent named M.J. Miller. He's made a number of custom pieces over the years that were necklaces where platinum or gold encapsulate the outline of the floating bones and yellow topaz or other such stones were affixed in settings with them in large, ornate necklaces.

This is what we did with the floating bones and claw(similiar). Singleton-Moss did a great job and have done a few projects for us with elk ivory and such.

We had them made into necklaces with some diamonds on them. A lady in RSA made them.

There are still places to hunt lion and be able to import them The SA canned lion hunt ban did not ban all lions from being importedto the USA. Granted, it definitely cut back the total number.

Sorry won’t share a pic but I made the most beautiful jewelry for my wife from my lion bones. Set In Gold with a large emerald in the middle on a omega instead of a necklace. I’ve seen many but this one Baranof Jewelers made for us is THE best I’ve seen. If you want to see them you’ll have to join us at SCI at one of the banquets!
