Let’s see your pup

We have a pack of five dogs, four are rescues. We are maxed out, that’s it!

Max- our 7 year old 105 lb blue Doberman. He’s my wife’s protector, a loyal and fearless dog. My third Doberman. My favorite breed but probably my last, a lot of training required.

The rest are our rescues, once trained, all wonderful dogs.

Bandit- 12 year old border collie/heeler mix. Poor Bandit was hogtied in wire and left for dead out in a field. He’s been a great boy.

Nala- 7 year old red and white husky saved from a kill shelter. Damn near wild, but with a little training, turned out to be a sweet wonderful dog.

Eva- 3.5 year old black and white husky. Dumped on the county road near our home. Our most vocal dog and maybe our smartest. Definitely a drama queen!

Sadie- 2.5 year old, we think mountain cur and heeler mix. Dumped on county road by our front gate. When I saw a car just miss her by about a foot at 65 mph I knew we had to save this dog. Got her dewormed, vaccinated and I trained her with the idea of re homing her but then I got attached, here we are a year later. :)

My explosive detection / apprehension partner was a brindle Dutch… smartest and hardest working animal I’ve ever owned… “Nick, the Prick” was the most feared and beloved dog at my agency… simply an awesome animal…

You’re a good man! We also have a rescue dog that someone dumped out in the country. But four??? Respect!

Orosius the story against the Pagans text

"After all, despite the fact that in the great house of the great father of the family, many living beings, of all kinds, provide assistance in the household, the diligence of dogs is not the last; only in them it was laid down by nature to diligently, of their own free will, to do what they were accustomed to, and thanks to some the innate law of obedience, the mere feeling of awe brought up in them, to restrain themselves until, with a wave of their hand, or on command, they are given the right to act. 4. They have their own abilities, which bring them as close to beings endowed with intelligence as they distinguish them from non-intelligent beings, namely, the ability to distinguish, love and obey. 5. Indeed, distinguishing between their own and outsiders, they do not hate those whom they drive away, but are dearly loved by those whom they love themselves, and, loving their master and home, they diligently serve, seemingly not adapted to this by bodily nature, but motivated by the consciousness of love. 6. That is why the Canaanite woman was not ashamed to say with a secret meaning in the Gospels that puppies eat crumbs under the table of their owners, and the Lord did not despise to hear this. 7. The pious Tobias, following the angel leading him, did not refuse to have a dog with him."

We thought we were going to raise a bird dog. We refer to him now instead as our pussified sporting animal. He has a hard time getting comfortable as the picture shows.

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...

2,822fps, ES 8.2
This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.
