That is an outstanding offer. That is, if successful, a buffalo AND leopard for what many are charging for just a leopard! All with a legendary outfit none the less.

Thank you gizmo it is a great area to hunt

Someone buy this please. I make it a point to never hunt the same place twice, but this is pulling at me.

Hi! Are both trophies payable upfront in full? What if we do not get leopard? What about pre-baiting, is it allowed and how much would it be? If we do not get leopard, I am allowed to come back paying daily rates within a period of time?
I was going to send DM, but these questions might be useful also for someone else.

What if we do not get leopard?
You will not be the first.
Generally you pay day rate and trophy fee. If there is no leopard, you pay day rate.
Leopard is not guaranteed anywhere.
Craig Boddington got leopard on a third attempt.
What you need to look for is the outfitter with high success rate. I dont doubt Dalton and York are one such outfitter.

Good morning Tusker trophies are payed after the safari completion. We offer pre baiting and recommend it it costs $350/ day normally 2-3 days is enough . Bait animals will need to be paid as well. I hope this helps answer some question

Leopard are one of the hardest of the big 5 and is never a guaranteed hunt but this hunt will be with York , who’s passion is hunting leopard so there is a high chance of getting a great leopard.

I am correct in understanding this statement ^- That you pay the $8000 leopard trophy fee ONLY IF a leopard is killed? Yes or No?

If that is the case this is a great deal for sure!

Most every leopard hunt I have looked at is full fee upfront, Day fees AND Trophy fee whether a leopard is killed or not. (I know, I have been on 2 unsuccessful leopard hunts :( )

My upcoming Leopard hunt was priced with a day rate plus trophy fee once a cat was killed or wounded. Just like most African hunts. I’m not sure I’d agree to paying a trophy fee when no trophy was taken or wounded. Maybe if the day rate was low enough.

Yes that is correct trophy fees are paid after leopard is shot

You only pay a trophy fee after the animal is successfully taken.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
