Do any of you gentlemen own a Leofoto rifle clamp? If so, what do you think of it? I can only find a handful of reviews but they are all good. I just wanted to hear what a person that actually owns one or has used one thinks of it. Thank you!!

Pardon my ignorance, but what the hell is a Leofoto rifle clamp?

Lon... So you are in the "don't use one" camp? ;)

To the original poster... sorry... couldn't resist.

here it is. (I was ignorant as well, but google helped)
Looks like it can hold rifle in horizontal position on tripod.
I have no opinion, as I have never been in need for one.

Works well for bushpig on a bait. I use a similar hogsaddle for that.

I've never needed one either but they are becoming very popular in the elk hunting community. I thought I might as well try one out.

Used something similar in the kalahari last year, waiting about 30 minutes for a heard of gemsbok work there way in range. Left the rifle in the clamp while waiting, never could have waited on traditional sticks that long. Not as quick to reposition as traditional sticks but wasn’t to bad.

Looks like something for the elderly folk that have the shakes so bad they cannot get a steady sight picture. Reckon the well outfitted PH will soon be expected to provide such for clients?

Dang, the next fad will be scopes for lever actions and double rifles!
