has anyone been receiving these in the mail?
i (in oz) have received 2 now, and wonder why a small individual in a foreign country would be sent same.
could it be a sophisticated scam?
where did they get my name and address?

I’ve received two also. Probably because I sent one 700 back to their factory several years ago on a recall to have the CMP trigger checked for excessive bonding agent. It was OK though. I have another 700 with the original Walker trigger and requested it to be shipped back to have them install the CMP trigger on the latest recall, but I’m not going to do it. I’ll just sell it. To much of a hassle to have to remove the scope for shipping and then pay a gunsmith to reinstall the scope and boresight it and/or burn up a bunch of my ammo to get it sighted in again. With the first 700 SPS DM (detachable magazine) .300WM I sent in, they did send it back with a SS magazine though. Kind of offset the cost to have the scope re mounted?
