Going back to 2011. With a 308W approximately 110M with a Norma Oryx 180 gr. DRT, was an old bull with not much more in the tank. Shot in the Limpopo Province quite close to Thabazimbi.

It drives me nuts when everyone insists 300wm &180gr is minimum for hunting Nilgai here in Texas ( maybe for tourists hunters?)

Recommending appropriate calibers for dense 400-500LBS trophy animals drives you nuts??
