Good day All
Can anyone assist me with where I can find a explosion of a Krieghoff Classic Rifle?? I can find the trigger mechanism but not the entire stock and barrel connection diagram.
I believe ( seeing another rifle) there should be a small flat top screw in place ( I haven't found it any where whilst cleaning etc and have fired 50-60 rounds no problem what so ever ) where I have marked on the photo, this isn't present and my safety trigger mechanism that has worked so well will not allow me to fire once re loaded with out "re-cocking" the tang; as one would normally do with a shotgun. Once released and then pushed forward again she fires, but will not fire in the position once reloaded.

I believe there is a screw that holds the "rod" in place, this seems to have broken off and now the "rod" can come out and potentially this is the culprit in not allowing to fire until physically re-cocked??

Any advice lads and Lasses would be very much appreciated.

Thanks again K-Gun Family....

This is from my 500/416. Hope this helps, looks a little different? I’ve emailed and called customer service before. Very nice company to deal with. Email was answered in a few days

I don't have a Kreighoff Classic Double, but do have a Kreighoff Hubertus single shot. Same technology and generally the same design. Mine does have a flat head screw holding that rod in position. Call Krieghoff for the part, hope they have one in stock to send you. Good luck with the fix!

I may be a little late on this one, but here is a picure of my 500-416, looks more like the same locking mechanism you have WRT the single screw. Krieghoff support, I have found, is good. Try talking to Elmar Bonn, if you need his e-mail or direct number shoot me a DM.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
