These are some knives I have had made. Some are giraffe bone handles and different types of wood. I’m not promoting the maker, just sharing for others to enjoy.

Yes, the caper has been to Africa on two trips, I loaned it to a skinner and he was very happy to have a good quality knife to use. The hunter is my favorite all around knife and I carry it in my pack.

It’s a stabilized wood, I’m unsure of the name.

Beautiful knives!

I’m not certain @Von Gruff but it appears to be stabilized California buckeye burl. I have seen it in several color shades. Below is a handle on one of my knives that is of that material.

It is a beautiful handle material that most people mistake for marble.

It certainly is eye catching. I have some beech burl in my wood supply that is quite spectacular.

HI all, here is a Short update on our America trip, I currently in Houston and have 2 more meetings here before movings North toward Oklahoma, Missouri and Iowa, and from there I will head to Colorado and Idaho,I have been met with great hospitality and friendship, and have met several new and old clients and we are going to book the rest of 2025 season quick and have several dates booked for 2026!
That's a wrap, on our first hunt of this years season.

Hunting conditions are a bit tougher in South Africa during the month of February, but can be just as rewarding if done right.
