So who needs a gun for CCW that doubles as a bear country side arm?
Up for grabs is a Kimber Custom Shop Ultra CDP II in .45 ACP. Included is 1x USGI mag, 5x Kimber Kim-Pro 7 round mags, and 2x Chip McCormick 7 round mags (8 mags total). 2 of the Kimber 7 round mags are standard 1911 mags (extend slightly from the bottom). All other mags are "officers" size and seat flush with the bottom of the pistol. Also comes with the original Kimber hard case.
Dont confuse this pistol with the Kimber Ultra Carry II (also a nice pistol).. they look similar but are very different.. the Ultra CDP II (this pistol) comes out of their custom shop and has many more bells and whistles on it.. The Ultra Carry is a production gun of similar size and finish, but without the custom shop fitting and modifications and without the extra bells and whistles..
MSRP on the Ultra CDP II is $1398. Most Ive seen on Gunbroker and other sites sell used in the $1K range without all the extra mags.. and not in as good of condition..
The pistol has two small blemishes on it.. On the bottom of the frame, near the muzzle end of the pistol is a tiny, less than 2mm scratch in the finish (see pic). Im honestly not aware of how that got there.. the pistol has been babied for the most part... and there is a tiny scratch in the finish on the frame where the slide release has made contact with the frame (pretty common on almost all auto pistols that have been shot a few times).. (also see pic below).. Other than that I'd say the pistol is in pretty close to "new" condition.. my best guess on round count is less than 300..
I originally intended on this being my "backcountry" / "bear country" pistol.. but ultimately decided it was too nice for me to drag through brush, get wet, etc.. and I am much more familiar and comfortable with glocks.. so a glock 10mm fills that role now and the kimber has for the most part just sat in the safe for the last few years (I can recall only taking it out and shooting it once in the last 12 months.. and that was only a couple of mags worth of ammo..
Ive fed it a few different brands of RN ball ammo.. as well as 230 gr Hornady XTP and 230 gr Rem Golden Sabers.. never had a single hiccup with anything its been fed..
Just getting rid of it now because of non use on my part.. I figure I can take the cash and invest it in something to put into the safe that I am more likely to use moving forward...
First $900 gets it, delivered to your FFL.. Sorry... while this is a CA legal pistol.. no sales to CA..
