One year ago I went to Kido Safaris with my youngest brother, it was the first time to Africa for either of us. I've been slow getting a video together of our safari, but finally got it done, it's a mix of still photos and video. There was a young man who was helping out on the safari and he did a bunch of video, plus my brother and I did some. The focus was always on the hunt and not on making a video, so it's kind of shaky, not always on the animal, etc. This is long at 42 minutes and was to show family and friends who have never been to Africa, but if you're bored and feel like it, give it a watch. I would like to concentrate on getting better video next time, but I know me and next time the focus will still be on hunting over filming. I live in the middle of no where with internet speeds that don't even equal smoke signals, so the video had to be compressed to get it to upload and quality sure took a nose-dive with the compression, but without further excuses - here it is.
My brother and I each got 9 animals, if you want to skip to a certain animal here are the approx. times;
Kudu 4:07 we got both kudu in the same spot
Common Reedbuck 9:44
Rob's Impala 11:43
Zebras 13:08 these were miles apart from each other
My Impala 16:57
Nyalas 20:49 these were in different areas
Warthog 24:05
Blue Wildebeest 26:46
My 2nd Impala 28:28
Giraffe 29:58
Springbuck 33:23
Gemsbok 34:03
Black Wildebeest 35:14
Springbuck 36:12
Rob's 2nd Impala 38:03

I would be very proud of your first time video on your first time African hunt. I only hope I can bring home something of that quality next year on my first hunt!

Thanks for sharing your hunt with a great video!

That was a really good video, I enjoyed it a lot!
