Through the binos, hovered a cross hair over one for a brief moment to check my camera tripod rest and then watched as they filtered into the bush feeding on blackberry leaves.
Initially there were more deer seen but the bigger boys get back into the cover much earlier. That place where they end up is a tangle of blackberry canes, sword grass, shitty thick vegetation and tall trees all in a large and very wet swamp area, life is tough trying to find them in there.
Same place this morning I was back in early and all I could see was a black blob in the dark that eventually fed into the bush without being ID-ed but just in that movement would suggest that there may be far more bone on top.
Ranged at 260-267 metres in poor light with ISO cranked to 6400.
