The amalgamation of Johnny Vivier Safaris with Wintershoek Safaris at the beginning of 2007 guaranteed our clients more than 46 years of experience in the Safari and Wildlife Industry.

This joint venture which includes 4 of the best hunting areas and 4 outstanding Lodges in the Northern Cape region of South Africa, is owned, directed and managed by Wiaan Van Der Linde and Hennie Gouws.

Clients who come on safari with us, will have the rights and privilege to hunt over 35 different species of game, including 3 of the Big 5, on 120 000 acres of pristine, malaria free, privately owned, savannah bushveld... South African hunting at it’s very BEST!!

Wag ‘n Bietjie Lodge (45 000 acres), Thuru Lodge (25 000 acres), Linksfontein Lodge (25 000 acres) and Gamagara Lodge (25 000 acres) are all 4 situated within a comfortable 1– 2 hours drive from Kimberley and Upington major Airports.

We are also exceedingly proud to have free roaming Buffalo throughout our hunting areas, plus large numbers of Eland, Roan, Sable, Kudu, Waterbuck, Gemsbuck, Nyala, Lechwe, 4 species of Springbok (Common, Black, White & Copper) Red Hartebeest, Black & Blue Wildebeest, Burchells and Hartman’s Mountain Zebra, the 3 species of Damalisc (Bontebok, Common Blesbuck & White Blesbuck) all compliment the 35 different species of trophy quality animals that we offer. The diverse hunting terrain, year round climate and hunting experience is absolutely incredible!
