Johannesburg Bookstore

The Safari&Outdoor store has books on hunting. I went to another store that handles more like outdoor text books to pick up my Roberts bird book and several books used for SA guide coursework. (tracking, and id books). Exchange rate made them very inexpensive to purchase.

Both are not all that far from airport. I stayed at city lodge and basically a full day; so I asked them to get me a car hire at a flat rate per hour and it was super cheap.

There are couple bookstores in Mandela SQ mall in Sandton and the Safari Outdoor store north of sandton has books. And hunting gear.

Uber is cheap and reliable. I use it all the time to travel around Joburg.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
