J. Rigby 350

Lovely......bring it here so I can have a play with it :A Thumbs Up:.....I had Paul build me one just as he was selling rigby...last one he made....only shot a Warthog..zebra and kudu with it...but none of them took a step.....traded it for a special 275 he had built....ammo was a problem . I had kynoch ammo Paul had ....if ammo had been easier to get I probably would have kept it....but the 275 is lovely as well....a bell replica made using info from the copies of rigby records Paul has....be nice if rigby could get someone to make the ammunition....maybe another one would be on the horizon then

That is a very nice looking pre war Rigby. Have you reached out to the Rigby historian to get a certificate?

Thank you for sharing.

Once again you have caused me to lust, covet and envy. Thanks!

Nothing compares to the rifles and guns made in the pre-war period. Rigby’s in particular. Nice find. I hope you will take it to Africa and shoot something worthy. Maybe a tracking Eland hunt. Or a Kudu during the rut. Baited lion perhaps. I don’t have the rifle, but I do have many ideas about how to use it!
All great ideas. I’ll be in Africa in July. Trying to decide currently which guns to take. Not an easy endeavor

I am just realizing it has the slide-on sight hood. You don't see that around every corner.

Do you know what year it was made?
Yes I love that it came with the hood.

1921

Yes I have it, I’m Traveling this month, but will get that posted.

Beautiful rifle. I love the stock timber on that. Plain, good grain flow and not garish like the current stocks. Each to their own.

I read somewhere, many moons ago, that Rigby loaded them back so the trajectory was similar to the 303Brit. No idea if there is any truth in this. I do know that they can be loaded to match the 358Norma mag performance.

Taylor said the 300 grain bullets from his 350 Rigby Magnum penetrated as deep or deeper than a 300 from 375H&H.

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!

Made it to Augusta Georgia yesterday for a meeting, hunt bookings are looking good for 2026 and 2027, had a great time on our Alabama safari shot a rutting deer at 200 yards with 7mm PRC near Huntsville and then headed on to Butler Alabama and semi guided my first deer ever shot a very nice broken off 8 point with hunter there and spend a few days on 1100 acres hunting preserve awesome place!

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike
