This is the rarest of the police issue model 37 police guns as most of them ordered for departments were plain parkerized with riot barrel. This is a Model 37 Featherweight Dear Slayer Police with the 8 round capacity. Gun remains in unfired condition. Flawless from what I can see. Has hang tag.
I purchased this from a retired Sargent from L.A. County police department. Said he purchased it when the department ordered them. It is not stamped LA, but the gun is unfired. These were slam fire shotguns for riot control.. Museum quality piece.
