Interarms Whitworth 375 H&H

I have Whitworths in .458, .375, 30-06,.284 and 7x57, the .284 was rebarreled but it shoots under .5”, 7x57 was finicky but finally got it under .5”, .375 shoots under 1” and same point of impact with just about every load - favorites are 300 Barnes TSX and 300 Cutting Edge Solids

I actually bought this rifle from the Original poster. Also got some brass from another AH member and got some 270 grain speer soft points loaded last weekend and look forward to shooting it
For now iron sites but once I decide on a scope it will be a low power DG scope in quick release mounts
Probably leaning towards a leupold but haven't decided yet

Leupolds on my 404Jeff,also have them and on my 375 Whitworth as well as a few others

Hi All,

I'm trying to find some info on a rifle that was my dad's. I've owned it for many years but have never shot it and admittedly have no use for, I would like to sell it to someone who will actually appreciate it.

I'm looking for a fair estimate on the value, It's an Interarms Whitworth 375 H&H with a 24" barrel, marked Alexandria Virginia/Manchester England on the left side of the receiver. It has a nice walnut stock and a 3 leaf front sight. It's in excellent condition. The S/N is B271XXX.

Hello. If you still have the rifle, I am interested in purchasing it. Thank you

Hunter's greetings to all
I am posting my buffalo cow hunt with my Zastava m70 in 375hh. I hunted at Silent Valley Game Breeders near Dwaalboom in Limpopo on the 8th of April 2025. Although being a buffalo cow, it had been amazing experience and thanked the All Mighty Lord for the opportunity. I used self load ammo. I am not going into the ammo detail as everyone uses their own load development and components. My rifle performed excellent. One shot on the right shoulder and she moved off and stood still at =/- 30 meters, standing with her back side pointed to us and looked back at us. PH Gert Cronje called for a spine shot and she went sitting down and still facing us. PH Gert called for left broad side shot and she tumbled over, laying down and gave last breath. Greetings to all.

Just bought my first Whitworth rifle at a somewhat local Canadian auction. The rifle is a 1970’s version the best I figure The rifle was a safe queen with very minor stock marks but a perfectly clean bolt face says she is unfired. Also got same time a Carl Gustaf 2000 in 9’3x62 in like new cond. No bs the two were delivered to my door for under $1600 CA taxes and shipping included. New Canadian laws are chasing many underused firearms into the auction market

What caliber is the Whitworth?

Great deal for both of those! If your Whitworth is like my two are, there should be a four digit number stamped into the receiver just forward of the bolt handle which will tell you the month and year of manufacture. Sometimes the wood covers it up, so you may have to remove it from the stock to read it.

I've had five of these rifles overall, and they've all been great shooters.

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
