In memoriam - RIP Dennis Croukamp

Sorry to hear this.

Enjoyed his book.

RIP

One of the most celebrated light infantrymen and member of the Selous Scouts. His book, "The Bush War in Rhodesia," ranks with "Pamwe Chete" as one of the two of the best first hand accounts of the war. One of the last of the truly "hard men."

I went looking for that book but holy smokes, the least expensive copy I could find was $100!

And yet another .....

Sorry if I'm becoming repetitive but

These folk can't go without some acknowledgement for past deeds

I know some here, because of their association with Africa, and/or their military background will appreciate such endeavours and such loss

Sad loss of a true hero. May he R.I.P. and may peace be with all those he served with and those serving.

Good Morning x84958
I have read your post about Jamy Traut and your hunt in Caprivi. I am planning such a hunt for 2026, Oct with Jamy.
Just a question , because I will combine Caprivi and Panorama for PG, is the daily rate the same the week long, I mean the one for Caprivi or when in Panorama it will be a PG rate ?
thank you and congrats for your story.
Best regards
Philippe from France

Hello Doug,
I am Philippe from France and plan to go hunting Caprivi in 2026, Oct.
I have read on AH you had some time in Vic Falls after hunting. May I ask you with whom you have planned / organized the Chobe NP tour and the different visits. (with my GF we will have 4 days and 3 nights there)
Thank in advance, I will appreciate your response.
Merci
Philippe
