I'm getting old

Yeah, you are getting old. ;)

What's the opinion on recoil pads.the factory rock hard pad is fine for single calculated shots on my 375 HH model 70 but when I practice rapid firing it gets the best of me.looks like kicked or limbsaver.
I use the Decelerator pads. Not saying they are the best, but they work for me.

+1 on the pachmayr decellerators…that’s what I’ve put on my 375, 416, and my 12ga 3 1/2 mag shotgun…

They work well

Decelerators on everything. I've tried others but come back to decelerators.

I’d put a slip on Limbsaver over your factory pad when at the range and then take it off when your hunting or just leave it on? I have those on my .375 and ups. I do have a slip on Decelerator on my Browning .338. Either brand works well at reducing felt recoil and I need the longer lop anyway.

Maybe there is a different model but the slip on LS I have sucks. The pad and area that slips over is far too soft and it moves around and squishes to the side, sometimes even under regular shoulder mounting. The regular LS pad I have on my -06 is fine and the extra thick LS pad I just received for my 458 seems good as well.

Well we all get there if we are lucky. Get a limbsaver

Thanks for the advice kinda confused with there sizing charts so I'll head to some gunships and see what matches up.it measures like a large but by the info on line says a medium.so the hunt begins.

Went to bass pro after work the local shop only had slip ons.found a preferred limbsaver that's real close but ug--ly! Looks like the heal of a pair of air Jordans.but now know what size to get.already mounted ready for the weekend.oh and my gunsmith says my model 70 in 300 Weatherby is ready too.

You can always go for a GraCoil system, handles up to 70 lbs of tension. ;)

Age is only a part of life . Everybody gets old , but it’s how you get old that matters . You can age like spoilt cheese or like fine wine , depending on how you take care of yourself .

Fit a Limb Saver recoil pad onto your .375 Holland & Holland Magnum , and you’re not being to be bothered anymore .

@ducmarc
I use both limb saver and kickeeze and find both good.
I have the limb saver Magnum trap on my Whelen and it works extremely well.

@CoElkHunter
And here's you telling me your 338 kicks like a 22lr, the pad must be just to increase the lop not recoil mitigation.

You’ll need a large Limbsaver slip on for CZ 550 and Interarms Whitworth/Mark X buttstocks. I think my Browning A Bolt has a medium slip on Decelerator on it.

Do you have any cull hunts available? 7 days, daily rate plus per animal price?
