A couple of weeks ago, I put out an ad for custom caliber-specific reloading equipment, specifically powder funnels and loading trays for big bore cartridges. We all try to use what we can get or make our own stuff to load for the heavies. When I got my 3D printer in January, the first thing I made was a powder funnel for 577 because nobody makes that. Previously, I had modified a Hornady funnel for the purpose but it didn’t work very well for that purpose or any other after I modified it!
I offered to make folks whatever they wanted for little more than my own cost to help
out the community. There was such a huge amount of interest, it took nearly two weeks to make all of the orders I got in the first few days. I got most of the orders shipped this last Saturday. In the last two weeks, I was able to create an entire product line from 17 hornet to 700 NItro Express. I honestly can’t believe what I’ve been able to put together in such a short amount of time with CAD and 3D printing. A great deal of thanks goes to this forum for the support and interest you have shown in these items. I was able to buy a second printer and I am working tothese products in continuous production for sale through commercial vendors.
Again, thank you so much for the support.
