Hunting and Bullet Performance Report from August 4, 2025

Caesar Fonte took his Blaser Rifle chambered in 500 Jeffrey to Africa and while he is there right now he reports that today he has shot a 41" Cape Buffalo and the 570 Gr Swift A-Frame bullet performed flawlessly and the bullet was recovered in a nice mushroom form. When we did the load development on that rifle and developed the load we were averaging 2260 FPS at the muzzle and shooting targets that looked like Mickey Mouse on paper down range.

Caesar has taken several cape buffalo and its one of his favorite hunts each year. He knows what good bullet performance is and we feel pretty good about that load at this point, as we do with all of our Safari Ammunition.
