G'day all,

Haven't been on the forum much last few months but it hasn't stopped me thinking about hunting abroad any less.

I'm still keen on a hunt for 2021 but just can't decide on what to do.

My ideas are

- Africa focused on free range eland tracking type hunt (probably no.1)
- back pack african hunt (seem pretty rare)
- burning my points for WY on a diy mule deer and antelope hunt
- Europe
- NZ diy

I'm not including Australia because the only things left of interest are too expensive. Money is a factor but not the biggest limitation, a good tough hunting experience is what I'm after.
My only concern for the first 3 is that our dollar to USD is bad enough at the moment that every hunt is 50% more expensive than advertised which makes it tough. Ideally I'd build my points for the US for a few mire years to draw a better unit. Europe I'd love to go back and try for roe somewhere again. NZ is a good cheap option for a diy hunter like myself and is probably leading the charge at the moment where I could spend some time hunting chamois and reds, or whitetail or sika.

Anyway, any suggestions for hunts around the world that will be a reasonable challenge and a reasonable price would be greatly appreciated. Just wanting a good experience to celebrate my birthday that year.

As an Aussie, you can skip across to NZ anytime. For bugger all $$.
If an Eland tracking hunt is what you want, make it happen. Life is no dress rehearsal ;)(y)

Narrow it down to two options.
What is your head telling you and what is your heart telling you?
If they are saying the same thing then you have your decision.
If they are saying different things then at least you've narrowed it down.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
