Many of us have long believed that the true agenda of the HSUS organization was anti-hunting rather than being a group whose primary interest was to solicit funds for animal shelters. In view of this article the HSUS's recent emotional and tear jerking T.V. campaign that solicits funds for abandoned pets seems particularly deceptive and offensive.

I would sure like this article to be picked up by the mainstream press, but it is highly unlikely because it wouldn't fit their liberal and deceptive agenda. The information contained in this article would likely burst the bubble of many bleeding heart bunny huggers.

Yes, it is old news that they hate hunting. However, my intended purpose in posting the article was because it contains specifics about their deceitful practices that can be passed along to those naive enough to actually believe in and support the organization.

The dullard "worker bees" (aka "brainless drones") of this slick outfit are likely to hate hunting / hunters but, the "fat cats" (aka "con artists") at the top most likely would "hate" or "love" whatever / whomever they perceive will bring them the most donations (to spend on lavish vacations and to stash in their personal off-shore bank accounts).

Tigris115 has the right idea because it is unlikely any local animal shelter /Animal Control Office would risk getting busted for skimming the books, compared to the way all these big shot telemarketing scammers often seem to do.

Or you could always make your donations directly to Ducks Unlimited, or to Trout Unlimited or better yet, make your donations to: www.africahunting.com and don't forget The US National Rifle Association, just like old Velo Dog prefers.

Also worth mentioning ... leaving money in your will for The NRA would give you the added peace of mind in knowing that such a move would make people like Barry Obama want to throw themselves on the Oval Office floor, kicking and screaming.

Go to their website. If it has a "donate here" or "contribute to our campaign to save xxx" fluffy animal, they're a fraud.

And where was this broadcast on the main stream media?? No where. This is exactly what needs to be broadcast on the media. In large cities across the country. Where the antis live. They need to hear this. This is my beef always, where are the big boy's? Why are they not advertising this kind of criminal act? All one needs to do is check their tax returns. It's public record. You will see just how little is spent on the game or the environment. Sad these bastards get away with it. But we really have NO real voice for hunters. I know many will say NRA and SCI...Again I say to these organizations put out ad's in TV and print as well as radio with OUR position. Let the antis UNDERSTAND where the money they donate goes. Let them know were OUR money goes. Geez...SCI/NRA shout it out!

I cannot give an informed comment on SCI, except that I did attend one banquet and I was negatively impressed.
That is not to say they might not be wonderful, perhaps they are but, my one encounter with SCI really put me off.

However, the NRA is definitely a worthy and effective cause, in the struggle against Domestic Tyranny here within The USA, if for no other reason than most USA Politicians are at least afraid of them and many openly hate the NRA.
Such is endorsement enough for me to make donations to The National Rifle Association.

It is a shame that we cannot put all of our Politicians in prison, where they truly belong, and start the country over again.

HSUSH hates hunting, but that's not how they get their money........they run adds on the TV about all the poor, unfortunate doggies and kitties that are being neglected/abused. Then the money they get from people thinking that they are helping the poor puppies and kitties is used to fund other things, such as lawsuits to block legitimate hunting, etc. There was a spoof video on all the poor lawyers that needed jobs, and the HSUS was there to help (pretty funny, although sad when you realize the truth of the matter). At any rate, I've tried to inform people at work that they are wasting their money and that none of goes to help starving puppies and kittens, but the idiots still fork it over..............I guess it's true that you can't fix stupid.

Use to, but I don't anymore............not after the Michigan Humane Society went "above and beyond" to block Michigan hunters from having a dove season several years ago. Again, money that was donated to "save the puppies and kitties" (which our family donated) was used against me when it came time for Michigan hunters to have a legitimate dove season.
