I was wondering if there is anyone here that can point me in the right direction and give me more info on how to become a Professional Hunter? It has always been a dream of mine to travel the world, hunt the globe, and become a Professional Hunter. There is one big thing I am a citizen of the US and I know that can make it harder and longer to acquirer but I have heard of other US citizens doing it and just want to know is where do I start and what do I need. Any info will be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

If you search this site you will find it has been covered here before. Its do-able but it wont be easy. I think most of us have given the idea some thought at some point but like many things in life I suspect the dream is much different from the reality. I spent some time back in the '70's working as a packer, apprentice guide and wrangler in an Idaho elk camp, after attending a guide school in Montana. Great experience that I would NOT trade for anything but after a couple of years the glamour wore off and I didnt pursue it further. Good luck!!

Hi Jon,
I saw your post for the .500 NE cases. Are these all brass or are they nickel plated? Hard for me to tell... sorry.
Thanks,
