@Just Gina is not impressed by the Pink Camo fad. On clothing but especially on guns.. She sees it and comments "What am I doing, hunting flamingos?"
A unique opportunity appeared one day in our backyard during bear season! Gina was preparing lunch in the kitchen and I looked out the dining room patio door and whispered to her to quickly but quietly come over. I was quickly outside on my hands and knees hiding behind some patio furniture and motioned her to get down while I hissed to hurry and look.... "Oh wait! Get your pink camo and pink gun!!!" As I pointed to side of the house where our target range is...

That right there is precious. You are a locket man.September teal was fun. We didn’t do very well the one day we had the opportunity to go out. It was my nephew, his fiancé, myself, and one of our waterfowl landowners. There were tons of birds the day before but they moved out over night. We only killed two but had a blast. My great nephew got to go on his first teal hunt after a busy dove season. Looks like a trophy to me. Tell her it is time to take care of that ankle and I wish her well. While my hunting season is probably a blank this year, my wife did fill her Nebraska elk tag. He is not a giant bull, probably not a trophy to a lot of people, but considering we only had 360 acres to hunt on and she is getting around on an ankle that the doctor wanted her to have surgery on 4 months ago but she wouldn't do it until she got her elk I think he will look really good on the wallView attachment 562646
The season to kill a bull ends on Oct 31, she has surgery (bone reconstruction and a ruptured tendon) scheduled for Nov 1. Non weight bearing for 8-12 weeks after that so she wanted to wait until season was over just in case. She really toughed it out for this bull, there were a couple days we walked just about a mile over worked fields to get to where we wanted to be when the sun came up. Thankfully her dad was able to get to the elk with his loader to get it out of the field.Looks like a trophy to me. Tell her it is time to take care of that ankle and I wish her well.
