Permanent wound channel appears much bigger with the ELD-X. That and greater penetration = no brainer. IMO.

Sure wish they had others - like the 155s/156s as well as the 140 grain A-Frame.

Good info, very surprising how similar they were. I would like to see a bone in there to see how the thinner jacket of the match bullet performed. For what it’s worth, here is a small mule deer I took recently with a new to me 28 nosler and 162 eld-x. Shot was 435 yards, bullet entered front point of shoulder and exited behind the off shoulder. The deer stumbled about ten yards and was done. Vitals wrecked, sadly on a pass through there was nothing to weigh or measure except the amount of meat I could pack off by myself

Would be nice if they'd do this with the 160 gr interlock RN. A bit slower, but I bet it hangs on to more weight, too.

l stopped using the 160gr RN because they pin holed through on pigs l was shooting
