Guys I have one of the Xi Cigar cutters and I must say they are superb cutters. Add to that the ivory bits with the images and you have a super superb cutter. Id have one but if she found out that I have two cutters it will be bye bye gun buying.

Besides I smoke my pipe more than cigars.

Day THREE: Zebrawood Cigar Barrel with Mammoth Medallion [View Cigar Barrel]
Another item from our Cigar Storage & Tools section of our web site, is the Zebrawood Cigar Barrel with Mammoth Medallion. This holder is the perfect companion to our Mammoth ivory cigar cutter listed for Day TWO above. Just like the old Winchesters, it has an octagonal “barrel” so it will not roll off your table. This is another expertly executed piece done by our “retired” precision machinist. Radiant with four coats of shiny lacquer, this substantial piece measures 9”x 1 ¼”. The stainless steel holder inside will fit the largest of cigars- 54 ring gauge, up to 8” long. The top is inlaid with a Mammoth ivory medallion about the size of a nickel so we can scrimshaw up to three initials on it.

Don’t have your own skins? We can make you one using our hand-selected African skins for the front parts and heavy supple leather for the back and bottom panels. The fully lined interior swallows a surprisingly large amount of gear. Exotic wood clasps secure the compartments and are affixed using braided leather. The adjustable leather shoulder straps are made from wide, padded rifle slings. These are sewn by a master seamstress and built to last a lifetime. Day SIX: Must-Have Belts [View Belts]

Okay, we admit, while this is a perfect gift idea, you’re probably going to want one or two of these for yourself.

Today, we’d like to tell you about our two belts: The Courteney Cape Buffalo Belt and the Hornback Croc Belts.

Courteney Cape Buffalo (available in brown or black)
These belts incorporate the fine craftsmanship you would expect from a company that has established an almost cult-like following for its fine footwear. Two thick and supple Cape buffalo strips are sewn together to make sure this belt will last for decades.

Hornback Crocodile Belts (Casual and Dress)
These belts are made from one continuous, extra thick piece of crocodile hide and this alone sets them apart from most of the crocodile belts out there. Many of the belts we looked at were made up of small scraps of hide left over from making other products that are then glued or sewn together.

Every one of these belts includes the highly sought after Hornback portion of the hide that consists of the two higher, more pronounced ridges that run along either side of the spine. This ridge starts right behind the eyes and ends well into the tail and is the most dramatic and durable portion of the hide. It typically goes to exclusive boot makers or the fashion houses. One mature Crocodile yields just two Hornback belts and this is the only type of belt our maker offers.
