Hello everyone. I live in the UK and have been looking at this forum for a while. Am planning my first trip to Mozambique this year.

Giday Borderer. Welcome to the A H forums.

Borderer, welcome to the AH forum! Oh I am envious of your trip to Mozambique! I never made it there. Please give us a report after your adventure.

Welcome to AH. Looking forward to hearing about your Mozambique hunt. Take a lot of pictures.

Enjoy your hunt and the planning. Welcome.

Thanks for the replies. I am planning to hunt for Warthog and Kudu with Western Safaris.

Welcome to the dark side and congratulations on booking your "first" safari. I will be watching for a report upon your return.

Welcome to AH Borderer. Sounds like you've got your preferred list of animals and an outfitter figured out. However, let me warn you of one of Africa's secrets. YOU WON'T STOP THERE. Additional animals will be put in the salt at your direction. But it is all part of the fun and the allure of hunting the Dark Continent. Use the "Search Function" to find answers to your questions. Have fun planning your trip. Will you be using your own rifle(s) or renting a camp gun? Start practicing with shooting sticks. You'll be expected to use them on your hunt.

Thanks. I have already searched a lot on this forum, packing lists etc are very useful! I am taking my own 30-06.

Thankfully sticks are very popular herein the UK, although I normally stalk on more open ground with a bipod. I certainly need some more practice though!

Welcome to Africa Hunting, may you have hours of fun here.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
