My name is Jim and I recently returned from my 1st trip to S. Africa (March 2023). I have been reading the forums for a while now as part of my attempts to educate myself before my hunt in the Eastern cape of South Africa. I had a wonderful time and took Impala, Kudu, Mountain Reed Buck, and Cape Buffalo. I cannot wait to go back! My PH was Richard Cawood of Hunting RSA, who, along with his wife, Carmen, were outstanding!

Giday Jim and welcome to the A H forums. Do do a hunt report on your hunt and let us all enjoy your success.

Welcome to AH meatloaf, you certainly got a good start on Africa with a buff too.

Welcome to the forum Jim. It sounds like you had a fabulous first hunt in Africa and are now addicted like many of us here. Congratulations!

I’m from western PA about an hour north of Pittsburgh but I now live in rural Idaho. What part of PA are you from?

Happy Adventures! Sue Tidwell
