Hello, new member but I've lurked for awhile. I'm finally starting to get more serious about an eventual Africa hunt although I imagine it will still be several years off, and decided to actually make an account.
I'm currently living in Kentucky, generally use an old Savage .270 as my main hunting rifle for whitetail, but also enjoy quail, dove and small game hunting with a 12 gauge O/U. I've been moving into more longbow hunting (mostly small game right now) as well as looking into a spear boar hunt with a historic hunting group I'm a member of.
Eventually the goal is for a .375 HH for plains game and possible cape buffalo hunt. Long term goal I'd like to look into a .470 double rifle but that won't probably be until the little ones are grown up some.
