Has anyone hunted Masai Land in the last two years?

I have hunted the Selous twice and am considering hunting in Masai land. Anyone have any opinions or experience?

I have also checked and it depends on where you go and what you are going after.

A few areas are being over run with cattle... so be careful...

I believe that a few concessions have been turned back in due to the influx of cattle and goats...

What are you most interested in hunting? Not all areas have all of the most desirable species like gerenuk or fringe eared oryx. I’m planning to hunt with Mubarek Atik of Eshkesh Safaris on their Masai East concession in February. He’s on here so easy to contact. He’s a good guy, good PH. looking forward to this hunt, a lot. I was planning a hunt on Natron North with Alan Vincent for next month but had to back out due to a family member’s health problems. We turned that into a Selous hunt with him instead for next August.

Give Eshkesh some consideration, I think you might find them to be a good Masailand option.
