Thought it would be nice to share with you gents what Santa (local Bladesmith) made for me this year. Enjoy!

Very nice, thanks for sharing!

Here's the description for those curious:

Blades : Hand forged full tang CPMS35VN Steel. Blades are 12 inches. Overall length is 18 inches.

Guards: Hand forged same steel

Handles : Moose antler and Musk Ox horn (no pins)

Are these to be "using knives" as I could see them being great as camp knives so wonder how the handle has been secured against reasonably heavy use. Some great workmanship has gone into this pair and will generate pride of ownership and use.
Thanks for showing them to us.

My pleasure Von Gruff. They will be "using knives". That's why there is two:whistle:. Just incase you needed a spare and plus it's just cool to have a matched pair. They also came with an unconditional life time guarantee in writing and no charge sharpening.

@Redruff , great looking knives, I was thought the matching pair would be, one for your PH,:cry::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Thanks....Good idea....I guess parting with one wouldn't be too bad after bagging a nice Mozambican Tusker and Sable.:rolleyes:

Mike, not going to abuse the baboon pic, but I guess you will understand.
