Welcome Sika89k,
Greetings from Alaska my friend, my hunting rifles also, only wear walnut.
I have heard from others that Hungary is indeed a grand hunting destination.
I've been to Namibia, it is one of the few places in Africa where you will have regular opportunities for longer shots at game (150 to 200 meters is an every day normal distance in most of Namibia).
My longest shot there was a whisker over 400 M but, most shots were as mentioned above.
Most hunters prefer a higher magnification scope but I used an older 4x Zeiss (on my 98 Mauser, .300 H&H, 180 grain Nosler Partition @ just over 2800 feet per sec).
I would use that again for Namibia but might opt for the Swift A-Frame 180 gr. bullet, especially if eland was part of my intent.
When I went, I had no experience with A-Frames but my hunting partner used them on that trip (2012) and since then I have been a huge fan of them.
Generally, I prefer round nose bullets for MOST of my big game hunting, here and Africa as well but, Namibia is an exception, since the shots can be long sometimes.
If you are hunting buffalo or elephant in The Caprivi Strip however, I am told the shots are very close range (river/thick vegetation), precisely as African DG hunting is, in any country the dangerous ones are hunted there.
Safe Hunting and Good Luck to you.
Regards,
Velo Dog.
