Great American Outdoor Show, Harrisburg PA February 4 – 12, 2023 Who is Attending?

If you've never gone, it's worth it to go one time, especially with a good sampling of Africa outfitters. One piece of advice for newbies, east coast and some southern outfitters are especially caveat emptor.
A fancy booth with awesome trophies and a golden website do not always make for a good venue.

Where about in Ont? I know the wife wants to travel south this winter, and almost convinced her about going to the Madison Wisc hunting show in March, but might look at this one as well, will have to check out the site and dates and see what else I can fool my wife into lol

I'm in Kitchener/Waterloo, dobber. A seven hour drive, but not a difficult one. A buddy is coming down as well. I booked a hotel through the Show's website for a couple nights at a very reasonable cost.
I have previously "fooled" my wife into the DSC show, but as it turned out, she really enjoyed it. It didn't hurt that there are plenty of good restaurants in and around Dallas, and we turned it into a decent holiday.

For someone doing a day trip - is local traffic and parking manageable??????? I’m three hours away and don’t want to spend 2 hrs finding parking or in traffic.

Go on a weekday, except Friday or park at the Bass Pro and get the shuttle.

I went to talk with outfitters, look at RVs and ATVs, but my son just wanted to fondle firearms. Both modern and black powder. So I dutifully tagged along with him, with an intention to return later in the week. Business intervened and I never made it back. But I did spend a day with my boy, which is always a good time (now that he’s not 16 any longer).
