Good Morning from S. Louisiana;
Actually discovered this site two years ago because of the wonderful photographs. Enjoy every posting on the site!
Just so happen I purchased two medium caliber rifles at the same time I discovered AfricaHunting. com. One a .375 custom Weatherby (Wby) built on a Sako action converted to left hand. The other a .375 H&H Winchester model 70, made in 1978.
Don’t like recoil but been casting for 60+ years. Almost all caliber rifles/pistols I have are shot using cast bullets. Casting and shooting bullets for .375 calibers with minimal recoil is not an issue.
Have certain shotgun powders, which I horde, work very well with cast bullet. Brass was an issue for .375 Wby, but better than half of my 375 Wby. started life as 300 H&H. Annealing and fire forming solved the Wby. brass problem.
Enjoy this site, have a great day.
