Welcome Diana! I'm originally from a little town north of Fort Worth, Saginaw. I think you'll find lots of great info here. I see you've hunted Mexico and SA. I am interested in going to Mexico hunting some day. I'd enjoy hearing your experiences in both Mexico and SA.

I use to live west of Fort worth. I still love the area.
I have hunted in Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, North Carolina, and New Mexico. I have hunted in Mexico and will be going back. Even though my first hunt in South Africa did not start off very well. (I was robbed within 30 minutes of being in Joberg) It turned out to be an amazing trip! I will be back! I fell in love with South Africa!

Welcome to AH Diana. Even though I'm from Michigan I've hunted Hogs around San Antonio several times. I have some good friends that live in Boerne. What type of rifles do you own? What species of game have you hunted?

Sorry to hear about you being robbed in Joberg. When My sons and I went to Africa last August we were picked up at the airport by a private shuttle/van that took us to the Afton House (a B&B inside a gated community.) Our PHs picked us up the next morning. I will be making similar arrangements for any and all future trips to SA
