gifts

Knives... candy and soccer balls for their kids.....

Don't replace tips with gifts... Cash is always king

Lots of discussion on this. Take cash or spare items you have and don’t use. Unfortunately if you spend money on gifts most will be sold for a fraction of what you spent. Trackers only need so many Leatherman’s.

I’ve given them clothing & cigarettes, and of course tips too.

I take things like hard candies, cheap $3 Walmart headlamps, etc that allow me to make kind gestures and show appreciation while on the hunt…

But those in no way replace tips… they’re just a little something “extra” to share when appropriate…

On our trip, a few guys left their shoes or boots for the trackers.

US Army surplus OD green fleece jackets. The trackers love them

Beanies, jackets, even phone chargers that fit all make decent gifts. You could also check with your outfitter beforehand to see what is hard to get there. As said before, don't replace cash with a gift.

Clothing, hats, boots, are things they will use and appreciate.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
