Here are a couple of shots of my new CZ550 .375 HH, the result of a painless trade through canadiangunnutz.com . Going to the range in the morning. Going to be a long year waiting to return to Africa, but fall is coming and I have toys to play with. Now I have to get rings and a scope and work on some loads. Gotta say though, this rifle has a very nice balance and seems very steady.

Congrats on your new acquisition.

Nice! Check out Alaska Arms for rings. Super fellow and good stuff. What scope are you considering?

I'm happy for you, everyone needs a good 375 H&H.

Not wanting to rain on your parade, but have you been able to determine whether or not this rifle has any feeding issues? That seems to be a rather common issue with CZ rifles.

Congrats on the new addition!

Probably a Leopold VX5 either a 1 x 5, or 2 x 10 with illuminated reticle. I will check out Alaska Arms.

If you like illuminated reticle or something similair - might want to look at a Trijicon aimpoint. Never thought much of them, then ended up borrowing a 375 in Africa - it had a 1 - 4 X Trijicon - I liked it a lot, would be a dandy setup for buffalo... depending on what you intend to shoot with your 375 - might be an option (if you plan on hunting PG then you may want something with a bit more power)

Thanks for the suggestion. Good idea, I will have to check that out.

Thanks for the heads up. With round nose ammo (all I have so far) it feeds smooth.

I have the 1-4 trijicon and hunted plains game with it. I have no problem hitting my spot. My range has only 200 yards and I have no issues. So, over all it is a great scope. However, they also make a 1-6 which I think will be better flexibility for longer shots to be honest.

Looks like a nice rifle!

Sweet lookin' rifle!!(y)
