THE OPTIC AND RINGS ARE NOT INCLUDED...but the Warne steel scope bases are! Also included are a set of unused RCBS .300 WSM dies, shellholder, and 100 pieces of NEW Winchester-brand .300 WSM brass. This is a rifle I had built by Match Grade Arms in Texas in 2004. Have all paperwork backing up the custom work by MGA. Began with a stainless controlled-feed Model 70 Ultimate Shadow in .300 WSM, but got rid of everything but the action. MGA did the following work: Rebarreled to .300 WSM with a stainless #1 taper barrel; Installed/bedded their lightweight fiberglass stock in "charcoal camo" @13 3/4" LOP; Put a Teflon finish in black on all metal; Installed the MGA Super Eliminator muzzle brake with thread protector; Performed trigger job on Model 70 trigger. I also purchased and sent them both a custom stainless one-piece bottom metal assembly and machined stainless extractor from Williams Firearms Company, which they installed with the build. Cost for all of the custom work alone was $1,550, back in 2004. I have only fired factory loads through this rifle and have fired a a total of roughly 100 rounds over the years. It was sighted in and carried on 2-3 hunts, checking zero @ beginning of each of those seasons. The brake is very effective in mitigating recoil on this light rifle. Was set up to be the ultiimate light yet powerful all-around Western rifle for me, and I chose MGA because they've been around for so long and had a great rep for building light yet accurate rifles. Don't think you could do much better in that regard!your FFL. Thanks for looking!
