No idea what make this is but kinda cool quick release mount. Marked “FN” on the underside. I would trust it for hunting but pretty neat to put on an old rifle or maybe if you collect items like this. $20 will get it to you in a small USPS flat rate box.

Three hole mount makes me think it is for Mauser. Show us a side view. I'm guessing it is for "commercial" FN Mauser. Side view should confirm. Military Mauser base would have a gap underneath for stripper slot (about where the lever is on this base). Caliper the screw hole locations. That may help ID this base. I have similar Mauser one-piece bases, commercial and military.

My standard action military Mauser screw placement:

Forward to 2nd screw = 0.854"
2nd screw to 3rd screw = 4.230"

Here's my build in progress with first rail. That rail was for commercial Mauser. Note that I had to cut metal underneath the rail to clear the hump for military stripper clip port. Commercial FN Mauser action would not have the hump but screw placement is same as military Mauser. Not sure why.

Hi Jon,
I saw your post for the .500 NE cases. Are these all brass or are they nickel plated? Hard for me to tell... sorry.
Thanks,
