We are flying on Ethiopian Air in two weeks heading to Botswana. We are traveling with bows only, no firearms. We have been told that the officials at the airport in Addis Ababa will ask to see a 4457 form for our bows.
I have contacted the Customs office here in San Antonio and they will only certify the form if the item listed has a serial number. I'll have to look for that tonight on our bows.
In the meantime, have any other AH bowhunters had issues passing through Addis Ababa with their gear?
