Getting rid of this beautiful Safe Queens. It’s a nice 1979 Ruger Model 77 in 243 Win. Still retain its Ruger high gloss blueing on their rifles. Included are Ruger Steel scope rings, and a Leupold Vari-X II Gold-Ring 3-9x variable scope, with duplex reticle. Bore is excellent, Rifle has less than 200 rounds through it. $1230 shipped.

Short action, tang safety Rugers are very hard to come by, especially in this condition....should sell quickly......good luck..............FWB

Oh man, I killed my first deer with my dads .243 which is identical to yours. They're great guns, my old mans has a strikingly similar Leupold on it too. Good luck with the sale!!

My dad also had one just like that from 77 or 78, He died and it was never fired. That price is above my budget, but thanks for reminding me of better times.

Oh Hell!!
You're way too damn close to me.
After the SCI Convention if it's still available (I'm hoping it's sold at this price) I will PM you with an offer.

I have the same gun in the same condition 1977 in 30-06. Probably less than 50 rounds fired through it. A true safe queen

It does not have the same bipod front rest but does have a Nikon scope. I will post pictures. Would take $1,000 for it. Comes with 5 boxes of ammo 180 grain

My sincere apologies!!! I just got a wild hair last night did not mean to hyhack your threat don’t know what I was thinking. Moderators please take down my post. Again my sincere apologies!!!

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.
