A nice little rifle that my kids have outgrown. I need to make some room in the safe. It has a smaller aftermarket stock on it with a 12” LOP and a muzzle brake so it’s setup for kids or a petite woman. I don’t have the original stock but adult-sized aftermarket stocks are widely available. It has a cheaper Leupold 3x-9 scope on it that I was going to upgrade but never got around to it. You can have the sling and 5 boxes of 140gr factory loads as well. Asking $625 obo for the whole package shipped to your FFL in the lower 47 (not CA). Get your kids, grandkids or wife out shooting with it this summer so they are ready for the fall hunting seasons!

Yes, it's a great cartridge. This rifle is just a bit small for me, not the cartridge, otherwise I would keep it.

Very nice. I really would like to get a 7mm-08 and use my 7mm Rem Mag less.

i,m pushing a 120 gr nosler bt at over 2900 fps out of the 20" barrel with a heavy load of varget. the lonest shot to date was a prong horn at 310 yards out west, one shot kill.

That rifle would have real potential for use in our hunter education classes but the state changed the rules a few years back. Now they own all the rifles and ammo and 7-08 isn't included, besides, I'm not going to buy the rifle just so I can donate it to the state. But it is a great rifle/cartridge for someone of smaller stature.

I forwarded the link to this thread to my daughter to see if she's interested. Her bf wants to buy her another rifle.
Told them it's a good deal but haven't heard back

Here’s a better picture that shows the size compared to my custom Winchester M70 .338WM above and a Ruger 10/22 below. There’s 4 boxes of Winchester 140gr Power-Point, 1 box of Hornady 139gr GMX, 1 box of 160gr Swift A-Frame reloads with 43gr of IMR4350 and half a box of 160gr Accubond reloads with the same powder charge. I have some factory boxes I can ship the reloads in. My wife shot her first elk with this rifle - one shot kill.

Wife's first elk taken with same rifle, son's first mule deer and his first black bear, a 7' footer, taken in SE Alaska with same rifle. Best hair on a bear ever. Son is 6'4" now so we just want to let someone else enjoy this rifle.

Did that bear square at 7'?

Nice, I like the 7mm-08, mine is a 20” Tikka CTR but wanting to make a lightweight Tikka 7mm-08, maybe.
Does anyone know where I can get a Petite women to deliver this to Australia and hunt with me?
Or one that would take me bear hunting ?

That's a dang big bear! (y) Nice! I shot a nice blackie in Idaho in the mid 70's, still on the wall. It too had a real nice coat but only squared a tad over 5 feet.

@sestoppelman I shot this one the day before. Both skulls 20 6/8" at the time. Both are 20 3/8" still today (12 4/8 + 7 7/8 and 12 6/8 + 7 5/8). Cody's had better hair but mine was good as well. Pictures don't do his justice. You cannot tell how long it was by the picture. One key to judging bears is foreleg taper. The forelegs don't taper on these bears. Unfortunately, my daughter didn't get one.

Sweet little rifle and some darn good animals! Those bears are outstanding!

Thanks guys!
