For Sale CZ 550 458 Win Mag

CZ 550 458 Win Mag with Matrix conversions. Guys this was a project gun I started. Tim at Matrix did the work.
New Bell Carlson stock fitted and glass bedded, recoil reducer installed and new Decelerator recoil pad. Barrel shortened to 23 inches. New rear sight and custom front sight, barrel band, safety conversion, single stage trigger, gun coated, bolt jeweled. They installed a mag block to shorten mag well and made custom follower to keep shells from moving around in mag box and help feeding. The work is good but will admit not AHR work, as I have AHR guns. I have only fired a few rounds off sticks, open sights hit about 2 inches low for me at 50 yards.

Now the Bad, gun still needs some work as CZs do on feeding, it will miss feed off left side every now and then when fast cycling. More so with Federal Aframes. Seems no issue with Barnes or Solids from Federal.

I am moving it on for another project I have the wants to do and need to clean out a few rifles from the safe.

Ask any questions as most of you know me and I am giving full disclosure on this gun.
It does still need some fine tuning.
Lost of pics and can send more if asked.
Will come with all the old parts that were replaced as well.

It still needs a little fine tuning like I said.
I have found something else I want more and freeing up some funds I hope for it.

May also feed better as .458Lott, I love all my .458Win Mags & never had a problem with the ZKK 602 I have used but I hear the long case feeds better in that long action ?

I have put a ZKK 602 .458Win barrel on a ZKK 600 action & it fits much better, even feeds a few from the 30/06 mag but I need to make a mag box or get one from one of these custom guys who have a factory one to sell ?

I remember selling 458 win/Lott CZ that started like as a win and was simply rechamberd. The hand-stamped “or 458 Lott” was often at (and once below!) the wood line. The label on the boxes were hand-corrected.

Glad to report this gun is now in proper order. Feeding and all mechanical issues resolved by a very well known CZ expert.
Going to shoot an open sights for a target today. I will be starting a new for sale thread on this gun since this one got a little side tracked.

GLWS it is a nice looking working rifle. Will make someone a great rifle.
